Built as an extension to Manor Street School in 1897, the old Infants’ building is now used as the setting for Braintree Museum’s Old School Hall: an excellent venue for talks, demonstrations and workshops, and also an ideal space for one-off or ongoing bookings.
Room Details
The Old School Hall offers accommodation for large groups and events, and is well equipped with PA system, WiFi, toilet facilities and mains power.
The room holds a maximum of 80 people seated.
Room size; 13.5 x 6.9 meters (approx. 44 x 23 Ft.)
Due to its town centre location there is no parking onsite at the Museum.
We suggest Victoria Street Car Park which is across the road. Please contact us for disables access.
Unfortunately there are no kitchen facilities.

There is a discounted rate for registered charities.
