Silk Shading

Join Helen Jones, tutor with the Royal School of Needlework, for an introduction to silk shading embroidery.
The design for this workshop is ‘Kidbrook’ from the Warner Textile Archive Collection.
The day includes practicing the steps in creating a silk shaded motif giving you enough training to be able to continue at home.
The course includes a kit (cost £15) with all necessary materials and instructions. Seat frames and embroidery scissors will be available for loan on the day.

Please bring your own magnifying glasses.
