Our Patrons care for Braintree’s unique heritage by contributing to dedicated appeals and projects.

Patrons Funding

• Conservation of art, social history and textiles for display
• Annual Braintree Schools Outreach Project that reaches over 2,000 local school children
• Provision of special exhibition loans from private and national collections
• Student placement bursaries for travel and subsistence expenses.

Our current Patron projects include:

• Conservation of the Old Iron Portrait by students at the Courtauld Institute of Art

• Refurbishment of the Museum Garden
